Requirements:
- Current and active veterinary license in Florida
- Minimum one year of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a shelter or clinic setting
- Strong leadership and communications skills
- Commitment to animal welfare and the mission of the non-profit veterinary clinic
- Fear Free Certified - preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-surgery physical examinations on all surgical candidates
- Perform 25-30 high quality, high volume spay/neuter surgical procedures per day
- Diagnose and treat post-surgical medical complications
- Perform humane euthanasia in accordance with HSGM protocols
