In addition to a portfolio of discovery-stage ADCs, our pipeline includes AL102, a gamma secretase inhibitor which is currently in a Phase 3 trial for treatment of desmoid tumors, as well as IM-1021, a ROR1 ADC, and IM-3050, a FAP-targeted radioligand, both of which are the subject of INDs expected to be submitted in the first quarter of 2025.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and passionate cancer biologist with experience developing and championing novel therapeutic concepts in a fast-paced and scientifically rigorous environment. The position will challenge you to leverage your deep understanding of cancer biology and pharmacology to engineer the next generation of targeted cancer therapeutics. In partnership with cross-functional teams across the company, you will lead the discovery, optimization, and nomination of new drug candidates for clinical development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply extensive oncology knowledge to formulate new therapeutic concepts and guide their development.
- Lead and manage preclinical programs from target selection to lead generation, optimization, candidate nomination, and IND submission.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to enable program decision making.
- Ensure seamless cross-functional integration with colleagues in antibody discovery, chemistry, translational sciences, program management, CMC, and clinical development and represent the biology perspective in discussions with other functional areas.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific developments and trends in targeted therapies and integrate relevant advancements into program strategies.
- Contribute to patent filings, publications and external presentations.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of regulatory documents, including IND submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Education: Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Bioengineering, Immunology, or related field.
Professional Experience: 0-5 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on preclinical drug development in immunology or oncology. Level will be commensurate with experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Track record of contributing to the advancement of pre-IND programs and regulatory submissions is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience leading cross-functional teams is preferred.
- Experience developing new therapeutic technologies is preferred.

Salary Range
$109,000 - $150,000
