Who We’re Looking For:
TLC Pet Hospital is looking to hire an associate who is looking for a long-term full-time or part-time position in a great working environment. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us, is willing to learn, and share their knowledge in a fast-paced team environment. We want someone who wants to have fun at work, and expand their medical and surgical skills. We are happy to consider both seasoned vets as well as new grads. Our team of doctors have a great camaraderie, and are always happy to provide mentorship and lend a helping hand. New grads can expect to have direct mentorship and guidance as they navigate their careers after graduation. We are ready to invest in you, if you’re ready to invest in us!
Minimum Requirements:
- DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school
- NM state veterinary license (or eligible)
- DEA license (or eligible)
- NM state controlled substance license (or eligible)
- Excellent communication skills - both with staff and clients
- Excellent record keeping skills
- Excellent work ethic, ability to stay on task, ability to be flexible and multi-task
- Compassion and kindness
- Respect for others - both with staff and clients
- Ability to have fun!
