Position Title: Clinical Team Lead
Department: Administrative/Operating Room
Reports To: Director of Field Operations
FLSA: Exempt
Position Summary:
The Clinical Team Lead is a Neurotechnologist (NT) designated to assist the Clinical Manager in overseeing a subset of accounts, responsibilities, and NTs. This role is crucial to advancing the organization's customer service and employee engagement goals. The Team Lead will act as a liaison between the management team and NTs, as well as between key account stakeholders and the Clinical Manager. This role represents the organization at accounts, ensuring effective communication and service.
Essential Duties:
- Fulfill all functions of the Neurotechnologist role
- Participate in educating NTs and assisting in training other NTs within the region.
- Provide support to NTs both in and out of the operating room.
- Collaborate with the management team to communicate new policies and procedures to NTs and relay any NT concerns to management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key account personnel.
- Work with the Clinical Manager to ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Implement customer service programs within assigned accounts.
- Participate in weekend/PM call rotation.
- Assist in maintaining team credentials and identify needs for additional credentialing.
- Assign case coverage within the team as needed.
- Travel as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Clinical competence in intraoperative monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with organizational policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite programs.
- Proficient in utilizing tools and equipment efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences or similar discipline required.
Working Conditions:
- Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials, with minimal risk if health precautions are followed.
- Use of protective clothing such as surgical clothing, gloves, glasses, and masks.
- Occasional/frequent travel by motor vehicle and/or air transportation to healthcare facilities in both urban and rural areas.
- Variable work schedules with potential changes from week to week and possibility of working on weekends.
- Requires availability during non-scheduled work time.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to stand, turn, and stoop among various equipment in an operating room suite for periods ranging from two (2) to twelve (12) hours.
- Ability to apply different types of electrodes to a patients anatomy with precision and speed.
- Ability to drive/commute.
