Responsibilities:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be directly involved in nurturing the hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho as part of the direct care team. This team will be advancing leading practices in trauma-informed, youth-guided, and family-driven behavioral health practices.
Must haves:
- At least 21 years of age
- Successful completion of approved nurse practitioner program
- Current, unencumbered, active Idaho license by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Idaho Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances
- 1 year minimum experience within adolescent psych setting
- Must have valid, state-issued driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire, as a condition of continued employment
- Knowledge of computer and EHR systems
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting
- Clinical EMR charting and documentation
- Oversee medication management according to physician’s orders
- Assessment of emergency or urgent situations; administer emergency or first aid care; triage clients to determine the appropriate level of care necessary for the health and safety of the clients
- Provide face-to-face psychiatric services
