Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

What to expect as a Speech Pathologist:
- Communicate effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional etiquette.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Work as part of a collaborative team in a healthcare setting.
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services.
- Maintain department quality improvement program and statistics and participate in house-wide initiatives.
- Provide speech therapy modalities to all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric.
- Investigate and report concerns in a timely manner and inform the Chief Nursing Officer.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in acute care speech-language pathology, including barium swallow studies and speech/swallowing evaluations.
- BLS certification required.
