The opportunity
This role focuses on enabling strategic and tactical business decisions within US Innovative Medicine portfolio and legacy brands. The role will utilize processes, resources and systems in support of patient assistance programs (incl. prior authorization, voucher and copay programs) and carries out analytical tasks and other assignments related to optimization of product programs. The role will serve as a capability asset and knowledge resource in support of the company's financial assistance.
This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (incl. patient services, brand marketing, market access, finance etc.). Communication skills and ability to present insights in an effective way is imperative for success in this role.
How you’ll spend your day
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.
- Manage processes, prepare reports and conduct analyses across multiple programs (e.g., prior authorization, voucher and copay programs)
- Act as the COE liaison to program vendors and marketing teams
- Support Brand marketing teams with customer communications as needed
- Presenting program performance and COE recommendations
- Synthesis insights from various datasets such as IQVIA FIA data, national data, and patient assistance program data and develop actionable recommendations to brand team.
- Present integrated insights to different levels of the organization in a clear way that leads to productive discussions and successful decision making.
- Participate in appropriate pharmaceutical, Market Access, healthcare, patient assistance, regulatory, training and developmental opportunities
- Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Other projects and duties as required/assigned
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred, in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, finance, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience.
- Experience in patient assistance programs such as prior authorization, voucher and copay programs preferred
- Copay and voucher vendor experience preferred
- Working knowledge of multiple data sources such as copay, voucher, IQVIA NPA, XponentPlantrack data, patient claims data, specialty pharmacy data preferred
- Experience working with complex cross-functional teams.
