JOB TITLE: Nurse Manager

To support the whole person care approach through the development of care coordination practices in connection with nursing standards, policies and procedures in an integrated care setting. Develop and implement plans for education, training, and the enhancement of nursing services across identified areas of the organization, which supports a safe environment and high standard of quality of care for our clients, families, and employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides supervision and mentoring to RN’s and LPN’s, including education, training and performance management, monthly RN supervision and quarterly nursing meetings.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Oversee operations with injection clinics, including reviewing orders scheduling staff, and managing referral requests.
- Provides education and interventions to maintain nursing practice standards, medication administration and self-management, safe storage of medication, and administration of injectable medication.
- Provides nursing education, training, support, and guidance to CHR clinics, residential sites and other ancillary locations.
- Assures high standard of quality of care for patients by developing and implementing standards of care; adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against standards; making or recommending adjustments.
- Provides consultation to CHR providers on nursing and health-related matters.
- Supports the annual nursing competency assessments for nursing staff.
- Participate and support accreditation surveys. Participate in the preparation, during on-site surveys, as well as the monitoring of standards and ensure standards are met as it relates to nursing care and services. Participate in regulatory and funder reviews, as needed.
- Collaborates and provides education and training to CHR staff and providers on medical conditions, behavioral health conditions and the interplay of the two.
- Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among teams by communicating information; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 2+ years’ experience with individuals with behavioral health conditions, 5 years’ experience in supervisory role.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Nurse license required.
COMPENSATION*:
$75,941/annually min, and up commensurate upon experience.
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
