Seeking a dedicated & resident-centric LPN on our Basic Care Unit for a .7 FTE PM position. This position works a 3-4 8 hour shifts (1:45 -10:15 pm) weekly with every other weekend and holiday.

Summary of Work
Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the certified nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines and established facility policies and procedures. Acts in a manner that promotes resident-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a current state license to practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). If no LPN is found, a registered nurse (RN) will be considered.
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired.
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic nursing practice with an interest in gerontological nursing. Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to communicate orally and through written reports and other documents relating to resident, staff, and others. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
