Carolina Veterinary Specialists is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. The hospital in Winston-Salem offers a relaxed, fun-loving, collaborative work environment. You would work alongside teammates including seven emergency doctors, two boarded internists, one boarded surgeon, and two boarded neurologists. Our sister hospital in Greensboro additionally offers consultation in radiology, oncology, and ophthalmology. This job provides an opportunity to hone your skill set, particularly in surgical skills and advanced diagnostics, with a schedule conducive to a desirable work/life balance.
To help our DVM’s practice high-quality veterinary medicine, we have on-site/easy access to:
- Snyder Intensive Care Units (can house 4 patients)
- In-house laboratory (Heska, IDEXX, e-POC, coagulation)
- SurgiVet Multi-Parameter monitoring systems
- 3 Toshiba high-resolution ultrasound machines including ER FAST scan
- 24-hour care & hospitalization
- Digital radiograph
- New 1.5 Tesla GE MRI scanner
- New 128-slice CT Scanner
- 2019 Varian Linear Accelerator with SRT and IMRT capabilities
- State of the art facilities
- Endoscopy, including fiber otic & bronchoscopy
- CUBEX Inventory Management System
We offer a minimum annual base salary of $175,000 plus bonus incentives and a generous sign-on bonus!
