ResponsibilitiesThe MLT contributes to the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients by the accurate performance and reporting of laboratory testing procedures on blood and body fluids. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
QualificationsAssociate degree required. Recent graduate from approved MLT school is minimum experience required. Two to four years experience as medical laboratory technician preferred.
Additional Skills or Qualifications:
Evidence of computer skills. Demonstrated organizational skills and problem solving capabilities.
