Pediatrician Healthcare Leader

Location: Powder Springs, GA, 30127

Very exciting time for this regional healthcare group due to expansion of their service line. Currently, there are 6 Pediatricians in the practice.

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Saturday is a call rotation of 1:6.

System: Hybrid Hospitalist Clinic System. Usually 4 clinic days and 1 hospital day per week. When on call, the physician has no office obligations unless there is an emergency. Additional call pay is provided.

Upcoming Changes: NICU is targeted for April 2018, with 3 Neonatologists managing the Nursery at that time. There is a small Pediatric wing in addition to the nursery.

Technology: 100% EMR in practice and hospital.

This region offers big-city conveniences with southern hospitality and charm! It features a thriving arts scene, a robust artisan agri-tourism industry, and an active nightlife. Other highlights include excellent school systems, a large state university, and award-winning public schools. There are ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and sports, all within a short distance of downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. You'll be 1.5 hours to Birmingham, 2 hours to Chattanooga, and just 5 hours from Atlantic and Gulf Coast beaches.
