Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to join our expanding program on a part-time or full-time basis. The successful candidate will join a growing group of 3 full-time radiation oncologists providing contracted services in a state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology Department built in 2017. We offer 3D CRT, IGRT, IMRT, VMAT, SABR|SBRT, and SRS all utilizing Varian True Beam supported by VisionRT. The EMR is Varian Aria with Eclipse Treatment Planning. We have an active LDR prostate brachytherapy program as well as Xofigo.
The Radiation Oncology Department, an integral component of our Cancer Center, works collaboratively with our Medical Oncology Department, breast surgeon, and radiologists located in the same facility, to provide the highest-quality medical care to our patients. Additionally, we have excellent support from our other North Bay Health specialists including Urology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, ENT, and Neurosurgery. We have regularly scheduled Multidisciplinary General Tumor Board in addition to our site-specific Tumor Boards for Lung, Breast, and GI. We are a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
You will be joining our department’s dynamic on-site healthcare team which includes 4 RTT, 2 Dosimetrists, 2 PhD Physicists, 3 RNs, 2 MA, 1 RD, 1 LCSW, 1 Tumor Registrar, dedicated front desk staff, and our departmental manager.
Requirements:
- BC|BE in Radiation Oncology
- Two + years of experience preferred
