The Nurse Manager plans for, leads, coordinates, and facilitates the provision of quality care and service for a defined population of patients. This role includes the procurement of appropriate supplies/equipment and providing for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver nursing care. The Nurse Manager demonstrates excellence in problem-solving, leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility, and teamwork. This position requires collaboration with administrators and other members of the healthcare team to design, evaluate, and improve patient care systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-site management
- Manage 5 in-center hemodialysis units and one home dialysis program
- 6 direct reports (one nurse supervisor for each dialysis unit), 70+ indirect reports
Minimum Requirements:
- State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 3+ years of nursing experience
- 1+ years of Nursing Management or Supervisory experience
