JOB SUMMARY:
A Dietary Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the dietary department while remaining in compliance with established food services standards, policies, procedures, and practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivers high quality nutritional foods and services to residents.
- Schedules, supervises, and assigns tasks to the Dietary Department.
- Assists in developing all menus.
- Assures that each resident’s nutritional adequacy is met.
- Maintains pertinent and appropriate records.
- Ensures all Federal, State, and Local Regulations are met within the Department.
- Maintains sufficient inventory of products.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) preferred or obtained upon hire.
