The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Creighton University School of Medicine, in partnership with CHI Health and Creighton University Medical Center seeks an academic orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Total Joint Replacement surgery to join our expanding clinic practice in Omaha, NE.
The busy Orthopaedic surgeon will join a division of Total Joint replacement surgery completing nearly 1100 surgeries per year, committed to highest quality outcomes. In collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will establish a residency program, led by our Department Chair, Dr. Ranjan Gupta, in conjunction with a newly created Orthopaedic Center of excellence at CHI Health.
As a busy academic institution, Creighton University Medical Center - CHI Health boasts a number of additional opportunities including the opportunity to conduct research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine.
The Total Joint Division is a busy part of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery integrating medical students and undergraduates in a rich teaching environment.
The ideal candidate will be board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with clinical experience in the management of hip and knee pathology with a focus on arthroplasty. In addition, the candidate should have a strong academic interest with a desire to educate and participate in research.

- Minimally invasive/robotic surgery (MAKO)

Responsibilities- Patient Care:

Qualifications- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
