Overview
We are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team and oversee the dietary department's operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and directing food service programs, ensuring high-quality nutritional care for patients, and managing the dietary staff.
Duties
- Develop and implement care plans based on patient assessments and physician orders
- Manage the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service
- Monitor food production to ensure compliance with nutritional, safety, and sanitation standards
- Budgeting for food costs and dietary supplies
- Supervise staff in meal preparation, service, and cleanup
- Provide tube feeding management as needed
- Utilize physiology knowledge to create specialized diets when required
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dietary Manager
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising staff
- In-depth knowledge of dietetics, patient nutrition, and aliment requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
