Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time licensed psychologist to join our team and conduct compensation and pension exams for veterans in our clinic. As a psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive psychological evaluation for each veteran, including a clinical interview, psychological testing, and review of medical records. You will then report findings via a Disability Benefit Questionnaire.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for veterans.
- Review medical records and interview veterans to assess mental health conditions and related impairments.
- Complete DBQs and Independent Medical Records as instructed.
- Work with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans for veterans.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from an accredited university.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of [State].
- Experience conducting veteran compensation and pension exams is preferred.
- Excellent clinical and assessment skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
