About the Nurse Manager, Surgery Position:
This is a highly autonomous role that will focus on the daily operations of the department. You will also provide mentoring to your staff, ensure collaborative and positive physician relationships, create and implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and should be able to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels.
Qualifications & Requirements for Nurse Manager, Surgery
- BSN required / Master's preferred
- RN active license required State of South Carolina
- Minimum two (2) years of progressive surgical services leadership experience at Manager level or above in an inpatient surgical services setting
- Minimum five (5) years of surgical services nursing experience (preferably in the Operating Room - experience with general and/or orthopedic is a plus!)
- CNOR is a plus!
- INSPIRATIONAL and COLLABORATIVE leadership style
- Strong focus on quality, patient safety, staff and collaborating across all levels to ensure and obtain the best patient outcomes
