Physical medicine and rehabilitation uses a medically based, multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Our comprehensive care teams of physicians, therapists, nurses and support staff are trained and certified in the latest and most-effective practices available, simultaneously contributing to the field with innovations through research and education.
Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, clinicians deliver innovative, evidence-based treatment, maximizing recovery and promoting independence for patients. The recent expansion of the campus to include the Assistive Rehabilitation Technology Institute (MARTI) and Tellabs Center for Neurorehabilitation and Neuroplasticity (TCNN) provides patients with the unique experience to work with therapists in the most advanced and effective therapeutic equipment in the field.
This award-winning facility has engaged our firm to identify a top wound care professional with a high degree of professionalism, passion, and communication skills to lead a very seasoned and busy department.
The wound care nurse manager has accountability for clinical and administrative leadership for the inpatient wound care program, ensuring best practices and patient care outcomes. The position functions as a content expert and liaison between hospital leadership, physician providers, and direct care staff.
Required:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or enrolled in current program.
- Current Illinois RN license.
- Maintains current certifications: WCC, CWCN, CWON or WOCN.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- 3 – 4 years of previous rehabilitation nursing work experience.
