Epic Travel Staffing is hiring aTravel RN – MedSurg/Tele
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a (12×3) 36 hours per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement “4 shifts out of 4-week schedule.
Weekend shifts for nights are Fri/Sat & Sat Sun for days
HolidaysTravelers are expected to work into the perm staff holiday rotation schedule (1 major holiday & 1 minor holiday)
Requirements:
- CA License
- 3 years experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Other Details: - Ratios 1 to 4 tele patients; 1 to 5 MedSurg patients but could be assigned a mix of MS & tele…could be 3 MS & 1 tele or 2 MS & 2 Tele, etc…)
- Charge Nurse 24/7 They will have either a Nurse Shift Manager & a Resource nurse or they will have just a Charge Nurse
- Floating Travelers are the 1st to float
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients General MedSurg patients including bariatrics & all total joints. Must be comfortable with this. CVA patients, a-fib, amiodarone, set rate cardizem, dopamine & dobutamine only for renal perfusion. No titration. Heparin & hyperglycemia protocol. ETOH withdrawal per protocol (banana bag, etc… drug withdrawal, drug seekers, addicts…
