Annual Salary: $92,000 - $112,000

Position Overview:
The Nurse Manager (IPCU) is a registered nurse with 24-hour accountability for the operation of the nursing unit, reporting directly to the ACNO. This role is essential for ensuring service excellence and the highest quality of patient care in accordance with the division of nursing's mission and the goals of Springfield Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and clinical support, serving as a role model to nursing staff.
- Ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.
- Foster collaborative relationships with patient care disciplines and leadership partners.
- Promote an environment of Patient and Family Centered Care.
- Uphold institutional policies, standards, and practices, including regulatory standards from CMS and other agencies.
- Oversee staff performance, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Demonstrate excellent people skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, or a compact state RN license.
- Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or certificate from an accredited school of nursing (Required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (Preferred).
- Experience:
- Three (3) years of clinical experience (Required).
- One (1) year of current nursing management experience with demonstrated leadership ability (Required).
- Med-Surg experience (Preferred).
- Infection prevention and telemetry experience (Required).
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (Required).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Required).
- Certification in Nursing Leadership (Preferred).
- Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to mentor staff and promote professional growth.
