IU Health Physicians is seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism team in Indianapolis, IN!
- Full-time, Day Shift
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- 90% inpatient, 10% outpatient
- Patient volume is approximately 50/week
- Provider will focus on providing care to the diabetic patient population
- Practice at our Academic Health Center (IU Methodist and University Hospitals)
- Join a team of 19 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, as well as knowledgeable support staff and diabetes educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- New position to help create Diabetes Service at Methodist and University Hospitals
- Inpatient rounding and Diabetes consult responsibilities.
- Endocrinologists to see all new inpatients and APP will see follow up inpatients.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP, WHNP or PA certification required
- Open to highly motivated new graduates
- Diabetes experience highly preferred
