Red Willow Animal Clinic is searching for a positive, friendly, and forward-thinking veterinarian to come join us in serving Southwest Nebraska! We are currently a 2-doctor practice and look forward to expanding to 3 doctors.
Starting salary and benefits offered are equal to $90,000 - $100,000. Benefits include health insurance, liability insurance, paid time off, professional license fees, and continuing education. A work truck is provided. Our Doctors enjoy a four-day work week and flexible time off. Every third week, they work half days on Saturdays and have a week of on-call.

About our practice: Red Willow Animal Clinic in McCook, Nebraska is a state-of-the-art veterinary practice that offers small animal care and cow/calf medicine. We deliver innovative medicine through compassionate and cost-effective care for our customers. We are equipped with an in-house lab (IDEXX), digital DR x-ray, two ultrasound machines, an endoscope, dental unit, and all the tools needed to practice top quality medicine! Our clinic takes pride in community involvement. We assist our first responders and police department in times of need. We also support our local 4-H groups, FFA chapters, schools, and more.
Practice Focus: Red Willow Animal Clinic is 60% small animal and 40% large animal (predominantly cow/calf). Our clinic is one of the leading small animal practices in our area. We offer preventative and sick care, dentals, and surgeries including routine, emergent, and some orthopedic. Our cow/calf medicine includes pregnancy checks, bangs vaccination, pelvic measures, c-sections, ultrasound, lameness exams, processing calves, and BSE's.
About the area: McCook is a thriving town of 7,000. The area is surrounded by multiple opportunities for outdoor recreation. There are 3 large lakes within an hour's drive for hunting, fishing, boating, kayaking, and hiking. Other recreation opportunities include outstanding 18-hole golf courses, frisbee golf, a brand new aquatic park, YMCA, Kiplinger Arena, multiple parks, movie theater, and much more. McCook also has a local airport and Amtrak station.
