About the Job
The Yang research lab at the University of Minnesota is looking for a postdoc with microfluidic expertise to lead a project related to the transport of bacteria in porous media and multiphase flow. A PhD degree in engineering or earth science is needed.
- 75% - Conduct laboratory experiments related to microfluids. The postdoc scholar will have the opportunity to learn different skills and will work on a project related to the transport of bacteria in porous media and multiphase flow.
- 25% - Collaborate with PI to write technical reports about the research, submit grant applications, and disseminate results at conferences.
Qualifications
Required/Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. required in Engineering or other sciences field by the time of hire and experience in a laboratory environment. Background in fluid mechanics and laboratory experiments is preferred. Data and image processing skills are also preferred.
