This position oversees two off-site locations - one at Lincolnville Health Center in Lincolnville, ME and the other at Donald Walker Health Center in Liberty, ME.

Your Role:
The Clinical Practice Manager will be the primary resource person to the clinical support team members regarding clinical questions, training opportunities, policy and protocol development, and ensuring the efficiency and professionalism of the WCMP Lincolnville Regional Health Center | MaineHealth at Waldo County General Hospital.
Responsible and accountable for practice culture and engagement, staff development, and clinical workflow support and enhancement. This position will assist in the development and implementation of clinical process/procedural improvements, training staff, and work to support the Practice Operations Manager with providers and staff in communication and resolution of issues.
This position will exercise independent judgment to assess patient needs and work collaboratively with peers and with a multidisciplinary team - the Medical Staff, Providers, Nursing Staff, Administration, and Support Services to provide safe, quality care to patients and ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies.
This position will be able to triage patient calls, conduct clinical calls to patients, assist providers with patient care when needed, provide education to patients and staff, and coordinate care amongst an integrated care team.
Partners with Medical and Administrative leadership with strategic planning and business development for practice areas.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Education: Knowledge of nursing technique as normally acquired through the completion of an RN degree program. Bachelor level or higher preferred.
- License/Certifications: Holds licensure in the State of Maine. BLS required within one month of hire.
- Experience: Work requires at least 3-5 years of progressively advanced management in a hospital outpatient practice environment preferred; Internal Medicine/Subspecialty Medicine preferred. Previous management experience including coaching, leading, and mentoring employees desired.
- Possesses a knowledge of modern office procedures and equipment; computer proficiency to include the ability to use an electronic medical record, practice management software, Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and general email systems; comfortable troubleshooting and utilizing telephone support; human resources knowledge and skills helpful.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
