About Kernersville Veterinary Hospital:
- We are a small animal hospital with two exam rooms as well as two surgical rooms.
- Our practice includes a separate dental station.
- Services provided include general wellness for pets as well as dentistry, diagnostic services, surgery, laser therapy, travel certificates, and end-of-life care.
- We offer in-house ultrasounds as well as digital radiographic diagnostics, to open procedures, and have an in-house lab.
The Day to Day:
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
- Develop continuity of care and trust by communicating effectively with clients and providing a high level of care leading to client retention.
- Collaborate and assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
- Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
- Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
- Present a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
Skills and Basic Qualifications:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Veterinarian.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Compensation:
$100,000 - $135,000 base salary (depending on experience). This position is eligible for production-based bonuses.
