About Kernersville Veterinary Hospital:

We are a small animal hospital with two exam rooms as well as two surgical rooms.
Our practice includes a separate dental station.
Services provided include general wellness for pets as well as dentistry, diagnostic services, surgery, laser therapy, travel certificates, and end-of-life care.
We offer in-house ultrasounds as well as digital radiographic diagnostics, to open procedures, and have an in-house lab.

The Day to Day:

Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
Develop continuity of care and trust by communicating effectively with clients and providing a high level of care leading to client retention.
Collaborate and assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
Present a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Veterinarian.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $135,000 base salary (depending on experience). This position is eligible for production-based bonuses.
