Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL

Shift: Variable

Weekdays: Monday - Thursday, 11 PM - 7:30 AM (Main Hospital)

Weekdays: Monday - Thursday, 11 PM - 7 AM & cover 7 PM - 7 AM, if needed (FSED)

Shifts Per Week: 5

Scheduled Hours: 40

Hourly Pay Range: $27.17 - $36.15

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team, performing radiology and CAT scan procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. This role involves technical expertise, independent judgment, and a patient-first approach, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of radiology and CT scan procedures with minimal supervision.
Apply prescribed ionizing radiation to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Use ingenuity and initiative to execute imaging procedures with precision and care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures.
Collaborate with the medical team to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

Experience: 1 year of CT experience preferred. Acute care experience is required for FSED opportunities but not for HCA Fort Walton-Destin Hospital.
Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
Certifications:
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) preferred.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
