Overview of the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for the Float Pool in the Medical-Surgical units in Tallahassee, FL. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your recent acute care experience across various settings, enhancing your skills and contributing to a dynamic team environment. The position involves providing patient-centered care with an emphasis on advocacy, privacy, and continuous improvement in a rotating shift schedule, including the possibility for nights or days.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate for patients and families, upholding privacy and ensuring confidentiality.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and formulate nursing diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience:Minimum of 2 years of acute-care experience in a Medical-Surgical setting within the last 1-2 years.
- Licensure:Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or eligibility to obtain before starting.
- Certifications:Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
