Position Reports To: Program Manager, On-site Administration
Overtime Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $53.00 -$59.00 per hour
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student cognitive, emotional, adaptive, and behavioral functioning
- Administer and interpret a variety of standardized assessments
- Support development and consult with implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans based on assessment data.
- Support development of evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Offer crisis support during emergencies
- Provide training and support to school staff on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and instructional strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and plan interventions for students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Prepare reports and documentation for IEP meetings, evaluations, and other required meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- "STATE" Department of Education School Psychologist Certification
- Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (ex: NV Fingerprint Clearance Card)
- TB Clearance
- Eligibility to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
- Prior experience working as a school psychologist
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and/or fumes
- Frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
