Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a chemist to provide research support to our core chemistry platform. This individual would be responsible for functional characterization of custom organic additives used in electroplating applications. This position would perform electrochemical testing and electrodeposition optimization of plating bath formulations synthesized by our R&D team. The right candidate will also conduct design of experiment (DOE) testing and analyze results utilizing Minitab. We need an organized person who can own a process, keep detailed documentation, and report key outputs effectively.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for process development, optimization and troubleshooting of new and existing products.
- Responsible for characterizing newly synthesized plating additives electrochemically and functionally.
- Perform electrodeposition of metals and perform basic surface metrology of various metals.
- Work closely with R&D teams to define boundary conditions of products and provide input to product development team.
- Follow internal ISO process(es) for new product development.
Who are You?
- A minimum of an Associates degree, preferably a BS degree in Chemistry, or related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in a laboratory.

- A team player able to work effectively and constructively with other team members and other functions in the company.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with capability to develop and maintain internal and external business relationships.
