What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and stabilize patients presenting with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries within the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for emergency cases.
- Utilize your clinical expertise to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
- Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
- Provide clear communication and patient education throughout the emergency care process.
- Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Cerner electronic medical records system.
Who You Are:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine (no state restrictions mentioned).
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) (required).
- Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications (required).
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and dynamic emergency department setting.
