The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing quality clinical care activities for pediatric patients (birth to 21) within the scope of practice as defined by the state of Florida and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team at the hospital and/or outpatient care centers. Demonstrates competency in evaluation and treatment, utilizing value-based care and evidence-based practices. Receives clinical review by the Rehab Regional Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Certification as a SLP by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) within 12 months of employment
- Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of Florida
- Excellent command of the English Language
