Job Summary:
Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with the American Nurse's Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice.
- The Registered Nurse is expected to provide primary nursing care for patients and to assume responsibility for other nursing care processes by assessment, planning of care, intervention, and evaluation.
Specifications:
- Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island.
- Maintains CPR and any other credentials or certifications necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in an area of specialty, including knowledge and skills necessary to treat, assess and care for women of child-bearing age.
- Must be able to lift or move patients in and out of beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
- Able to push and pull wheelchairs, stretchers, monitor tables, push carts (dressing, central line, emergency), and IV poles.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
