Job Title: RN Team Leader Licensed Nurse
Job Summary: Assists in planning and implementing the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching. Maintains role as a resident advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.

RN Assessments: Demonstrates competency in providing RN assessments whenever requested or needed in the facility such as responding to falls, PICC lines, nephrostomy, IVs, or any other RN only duties that may occur.
Demonstrates competent RN documentation in residents' records on all RN duties or skills provided in the facility such as accident incident reports, PICC lines, infusions given, IV monitoring, nephrostomy flushes, or any other assigned RN skills provided.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
