The Physician-Scientist at Mediwhale will bridge clinical practice and research, communicating findings, and collaborating with teams to integrate medical insights into our AI solutions. This role ensures our solutions are clinically relevant and impactful.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical research, including data analysis using R and Python.
- Design and implement new research projects in collaboration with hospitals and doctors.
- Write scientific papers and present abstracts at national and international conferences.
- Communicate effectively with the AI and development teams to integrate medical insights into AI solutions.
- Provide valuable input and medical expertise to support sales and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- MD(medical degree) is required. An additional degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, public health, or data science) is preferable.
- Proven experience in medical research, with a strong background in statistical analysis and proficiency in R and Python.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with deep learning and AI applications in healthcare.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead research initiatives.
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines and standards in clinical research.
- Experience presenting at conferences and communicating with physicians.
- Ability to provide strategic insights to support business development and marketing.
