Are you a Physical Therapist Assistant looking to join a great team of professionals? Join our team in Frederick, MD at Frederick Health Hospital. This is a Full Time, Physical Therapist Assistant position with full and competitive benefits.
Schedule is Monday - Friday.
Weekend Requirement: Minimum One Weekend Day per month
Holiday Requirement: One Major and One Minor holiday
The details:
This is a large team in a fast-paced hospital environment where clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological, and critical care caseloads. Physical Therapist Assistants with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience are encouraged to apply. We will also consider new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations. The requirements:
- Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE
- Current state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy in Maryland
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
- Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
- Experience with documentation utilizing EMR
The responsibilities:
- Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans for patients
- Document progress toward identified objectives
- Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department
- Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
- Conduct patient and family education
- Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
