Salary range: £44,474 - £54,609, Soulbury Scale A points 2 - 7, plus up to 3 SPA points

About the Role
As an Educational Psychologist, you will be supporting a patch of schools made up of primary, secondary, and special. We endeavor to ensure a good fit between EPs and the schools they support.
All Educational Psychologists are provided with a laptop, phone, and assessment kit. We work a flexible model of home working, work in schools, and office visits. We have significantly increased our skills in the use of ICT, and all of the team are confident and competent in using video conferencing for consultations and training.
About you
On taking up this post, you will be a fully qualified Educational Psychologist looking to apply your skills to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in Trafford.
You will have previous experience of working directly with children and young people, for example as a teacher, teaching assistant, or youth worker.
Applicants to this post are required to have a first degree or equivalent in Psychology and a professional qualification in Educational Psychology (MSc or Doctorate); however, those in the third year of doctoral training will also be considered. On taking up the post, you will need to be registered with the HCPC, and an enhanced DBS check is also required.

In addition to SLA time, all Educational Psychologists provide statutory advice for Education Health and Care Needs Assessments.

An enhanced DBS check with children/adults barred list check will be required.
The EPS has a number of desk spaces in Sale Waterside, and you will have flexibility in terms of hybrid working at home and in the office.
The EPS holds a range of resources in the form of assessments, books, etc., and all Educational Psychologists are provided with an assessment for their own professional use.
