Summary
MyMichigan Pediatrics Alpena is looking to add a third physician to its outstanding team. The position is a traditional inpatient/outpatient role with a relatively low inpatient census and low acuity (1-3 pediatric inpatients on average per day). Nursery/inpatient coverage is typically scheduled in the morning with clinic work following. Full scope of outpatient services is provided. The clinic has a high-functioning staff, including a full-time RN, and plans to expand clinic space in the next 3-5 years. Call responsibility will be 1:3 and is not overly burdensome, allowing for a good work/life balance.
Responsibilities
Bread and butter pediatric work - in and outpatient.
Certifications and Licensures
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
- Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
Required Education
- Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency
