Anduril has been selected as one of five vendors chosen to develop Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) for the Air Force's flagship autonomous aircraft program. We are honored to be the only non-traditional defense company selected to be a part of the program and we are seeking highly motivated engineers to join us in the rapid development of a new, revolutionary aircraft.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist in the design and development of Low Observable (LO) unmanned air vehicles
- Perform InfraRed (IR) analysis of components and full air vehicles
- Develop analysis tools, workflows, and validation processes for IR analysis
- Model and optimize IR materials for utilization in components and air vehicles
- Aid in the development of manufacturing and validation plans for LO air vehicles
- Aid in the development of IR ground and flight test plans
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience with LO aircraft
- Proficient knowledge of LO design, analysis, and validation methodologies
- Experience with using IR analysis tools to generate intensities and detections
- Familiarity with how to model and design with IR materials
- Experience with CAD software packages such as NX, CATIA
- Experience with IR testing of components and air vehicles
- BS or higher degree in STEM discipline
- Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with the design and manufacture of IR materials
- Experience with IR flight testing
- Experience with Tier 1 point inspection tools for IR materials
- Experience with LO airframe design, LO coating integration, and subsystem integrations
- Experience with scripting tools such as Matlab, Python, C++
