The Speech-Language Pathologist provides services to identify, remediate, rehabilitate, and educate individuals who have speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, and/or hearing disorders. This position provides evaluation, treatment, and consultation with the goal of maximizing functional independence. Speech Language Pathologist provides counseling, guidance, and training to families, caregivers, students, and other professionals. This position is relied upon to collaborate with others to facilitate the delivery of speech services. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Speech-Language Pathologist Skills & Responsibilities.
Shift: CTC Operational hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30-7:00 Fri 8:00-6:30

Qualifications
Education
Required
High School/GED or better.
Masters or better in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience
Required
Certified or currently completing requirements for a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) at the time of hire or within 3 months of hire.
Experienced SLPs: One (1) year of clinical pediatric experience preferred.
New Grads: minimum of one (1) clinical rotation in pediatrics as required for degree completion.

Has experience providing diagnostic Speech Language evaluations and treatment.
