Description:
As an orthopedic medical professional, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical services and treatments to patients with our client. This includes adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct orthopedic examinations, evaluations, treatments, and minor procedures as required.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as x-rays, MRI/CT scans.
- Create treatment plans and prescribe orthopedic interventions such as casting, bracing, and injections.
- Refer patients for surgical consultations or advanced treatments when deemed necessary.
- Manage nonsurgical pain treatment and post-operative care.
- Prescribe medications for orthopedic conditions.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records using the EHR system.
- Participate in clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staffing.
- Assist with QA/CQI activities, including peer reviews, audits, and utilization reports.
- Provide scheduled on-call orthopedic coverage.
- Adhere to facility policies, credentialing requirements, and all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Engage in continuous education to maintain specialty certification.
- Collaborate effectively with other providers and department heads.
- Perform any additional duties assigned.
Job Type: Contract (40 Hrs/week) Variable
Contract Duration: 52 week Contract

Requirements:
- Must be board certified in orthopedic surgery.
- Must hold a current medical license.
- Must have DEA registration.
- Must be willing to complete credentialing with our client.
- Strong team-player with excellent communication and clinical skills.
