Primary Care - Nurse Practitioner
Join a primary care facility, serving the community as a patient’s first point of entry to the health care system and as the gateway for all additional health care services. This role provides patients with ready access to their own personal primary care provider who acts as an advocate for them in coordinating the use of the entire health care system, collaborating with other health professionals, and utilizing consultation or referral for specific needs when appropriate.
The Nurse Practitioner shall:
- Diagnose, treat, and promote health and optimal functioning to Center patients.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Identify potential and actual health and health-related problems.
- Evaluate patient responses associated with the problem area.
- Diagnose acute and chronic illness.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic components.
- Include the patient and family as active participants in the treatment plan.
- Provide and prescribe medications within the area of specialty.
- Perform laboratory procedures and interpret lab results.

Minimum Requirements: Minimum of two years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner with demonstrated assessment skills and primary care exposure.
