The Clinical Supervisor II is responsible for providing group and individual clinical supervision in adherence with the agency’s evidence based practice and policies and procedures and in compliance with BBS regulations. Major responsibilities include providing clinical supervision (individual and group), developing and providing training within clinical supervision and regularly communicating attendees’ performance to program supervisor.
YOUR SKILLS AND DUTIES
- Provide group and or individual clinical supervision in compliance to agency policies and procedures and BBS regulations.
- Provide training to program staff within clinical supervision and provide input regarding staff’s clinical performance evaluation.
- Monitor and review documentation to see to the quality and accuracy per agency policies and procedures, EPSDT and CalAIM.
- Provide in vivo field based supervision, shadowing, modeling, and support to staff.
- Complete required written and/or verbal reports in a professional manner.
- Provide crisis support in concert with staff.
- Provide back-up on-call support inclusive of mobilization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree as defined in the Health and Safety Code, Section 1506 (e) (f)
- California Licensed Marriage Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Psychologist with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for a minimum of two years.
- Meets the BBS qualifications to clinically supervise.
- Two years’ supervisory/management experience in related field.
- Two years’ experience providing direct clinical services to high risk youth in a related field/setting (community based, social services, behavioral health, school based, or residential setting.)
- Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
