Summary: Under the direction of the Nursing Director, works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as a part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes which includes patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of unit staff in designated service area(s). May provide direct patient care.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum One year of nursing experience required.
Specialty Certifications: Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred.
Education: Essential: Associate Degree.
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
ACLS certification required based on area of service.
Credentials: Essential: Registered Nurse; Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
Academic Preparation: Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO).
