Short Description
$5,000 Sign-on bonus for a two-year commitment. Bonus paid as follows:
• $1,000 upon completion of first 90 days
• $2,000 after completion of 1 year
• $2,000 after completion of 2 years
This position requires flexibility and the ability to work beyond normal hours. It also requires the ability to handle ambiguity in work plan definition and adapt to change. May require the supervisor to perform clinically, imaging patients if there is a critical need for coverage.
Responsibilities
- Prepares staffing plan, reviews and approves work schedules to ensure adequate 24-hour staff coverage.
- Projects staffing needs, flex staff when needed to work within metrics; interviews and assists with hiring the right employees to fill vacant positions.
- Monitors patient care and analyzes patient care patterns, initiating quality improvement procedures and initiatives to enhance patient services; ensures a safe, diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
- Coordinates and establishes technical care practices; uses selected published practice theory as a framework for coordinating patient care.
- Works with managers to formulate plans for professional development and attends educational in-services as appropriate.
- Completes annual staff evaluations, oversees training and competency of all new hires, and provides ongoing feedback to staff.
- Serves as a content expert for staff and administration by resolving/answering technical issues or concerns.
- Completes payroll responsibilities in Kronos and ensures departmental achievement through strong employee engagement.
Experience Required
3 years MRI clinical experience
All MRI Imaging and protocols
Analytical, problem-solving skills required
Education Requirements
H.S. Diploma, Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography & MRI programs; Associates degree preferred but not required
License/Certification Requirements
Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) completed by the American Heart Association
Current Certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Radiographers) ARRT
Board Certified in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
