Why Animal Hospital of Dunedin in Dunedin, FL?
The facility is located on a 1/2 acre of land and is a freestanding building with an A frame roof. It is a 3500 sq. ft. building, with 1500 sq. ft. dedicated to outpatient/inpatient care and 2000 sq. ft. for the remainder of the facility. The hospital includes five exam rooms, a pharmacy, treatment and reception areas, two surgical suites, radiology, rehabilitation room, doctors’ office, and a call center.
The hospital is well equipped with a Vetpacs Digital Radiology system, and all radiographs are read by a board certified radiologist. Surgery capabilities include running two tables simultaneously and an additional surgical station for emergencies. Anesthesia protocols are written by a board certified anesthesiologist, and pain management protocols include various medications. Surgical monitoring includes continuous pulse oximetry, heart rate, and CO2 measurements.
Other equipment includes a Vetronics computerized ECG analyzer, microscope, Idexx Chemistry and CBC machines, and the capability to run in-house tests. The hospital runs on an Avimark Veterinary Software system with each doctor having a laptop and each room equipped with a wall-mounted computer workstation.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who loves dogs and cats, is enthusiastic about surgery, and has the basics (spay, neuter, dentistry, tumor removals, etc.) covered. You should focus on providing excellent client communication and be committed to delivering the best possible care to the animals of our community.

Requirements:
- Current Florida State Veterinary License
- DVM, VMD or equivalent Doctoral degree
- Flexible work schedule, with availability to work some weekends and holidays
