Job Title: Pharmacist Lead – Clinical Specialist Team
Location: In-person - Integrity Compounding Pharmacy, 8601 Dunwoody Place, Sandy Springs, GA 30350
Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility based on company needs
Salary Range: $115,000 – $130,000

Integrity Compounding Pharmacy is an industry leader in the compounding marketplace. We compound sterile, non-sterile, hazardous, and non-hazardous medications. On average, we fill 300 - 350 compounds per day and are actively working to increase that number. POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Lead to join and manage our Clinical Specialist Team. In this role, you will oversee a team of pharmacy technicians and be the go-to expert for complex questions from both patients and healthcare providers regarding our compounded medications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our team provides outstanding customer service and the highest quality pharmaceutical care. Your expertise in compounding will be essential to this position as you lead formula design efforts, provide ongoing education, and troubleshoot patient and practitioner concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing direction, mentorship, and support. Ensure efficient and effective team operations.
- Customer Service Excellence: Serve as the main point of contact for complex inquiries from patients and healthcare providers regarding our compounded medications, delivering superior customer service and accurate information.
- Compounding Expertise: Master the field of compounding, including the design of new formulations and evaluation of existing formulas. Ensure adherence to best practices and regulations in compounding.
- Education & Training: Facilitate ongoing education for team members on compounded medications. Conduct training sessions and update team members on changes in compounding practices and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues related to compounded medications for patients and practitioners.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all compounding practices and protocols are followed and adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless service and support for patients and providers.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
- 3+ years of experience in a compounding pharmacy setting is required.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing or supervising a team.
- Strong understanding of compounding regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to patients and healthcare providers.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Commitment to continuous education and staying updated on industry trends and advancements in compounding.
