National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) headquartered near the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking to support an engagement for Government - Federal (USA) Sector Clients. The National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), Division of Environmental Health Science and Practice (DEHSP) prevents exposures to environmental health hazards to improve the health of all people in all communities through applied environmental public health science and practice.
This Public Health Analyst I position currently best aligns with the Junior Consultant Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive dialogue targeting mission success. ProSidian Team Members accomplish this mission by acquiring skilled talent for the Tracking Program with a wide range of expertise including informatics, data science, bio-statistics, epidemiology, health education, and communication.
The Public Health Analyst I shall have overall responsibility of the contract activities: planning, organizing, directing, controlling, staffing and reporting status, deliverables and schedules to the Government. As various Task Orders are issued by the Government, the Public Health Analyst I shall ensure the deliverables are in compliance with the Task Order in terms of budget, schedule, and quality of the delivered product. Note: a Public Health Analyst I may oversee several Task Orders at one time.
The Public Health Analyst I shall provide facilitation and coordination of the technical teams along the following functional team thematic areas: state and national public health data systems and emerging standards; working with the state health and environmental agencies; and developing strategies for dissemination of information to key audiences. Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to, organizing online meetings, developing agendas, providing virtual meeting audio and webinar services, and facilitating meetings, taking notes.
The majority of the work will be completed via Telework, with the exception of attendance at major program meetings.
The Public Health Analyst I must possess the following required skills/experience:
- Ten (5) or more years of relevant experience in business management, informatics, data science, bio-statistics, epidemiology, health education, and communication.
- Skilled in program development, strategic planning, evaluation, facilitation, partnerships, and project management.
- Technically competent with Microsoft Products 2016 or later.
- Experience defining all project activities and milestones required to meet objectives and deliverables.
- Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business writing ability.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
- All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the USG’s designated Security Office.

- May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement.
- Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
