MIXED ANIMAL ASSOCIATE VET WANTED!!
Big Bear Veterinary Clinic is a 3 doctor mixed animal practice seeking a fourth motivated, team oriented veterinarian to join our team. We see anything from cats and dogs to horses, llamas and cows. We are a very close knit group and we consider our staff family.
Our clinic is located in Hayesville, NC, just a few hours from Atlanta GA, Chattanooga, TN and Asheville NC. There are many things to do in this beautiful area, including unlimited trails, rivers, lakes and outdoor activities. We are also not far from several major cities. It is the best of both worlds.
Our hours of operation are M, T, W, Th and F from 8-4pm and Sat from 8am-12pm. We are closed on Sundays. Associate veterinarians will typically have one day off per week and work every fourth weekend. We are available on emergency for our active clients, so splitting emergency on call will likely be required. Scheduling is negotiable and we believe that work-life balance is important. New graduates are welcome to apply and will be mentored as needed.
